Our Purpose Our Schedule CDs & Cassettes Photo Gallery - Missions

Formed in 1993, Workers in the Harvest has seen changes to the
group, but not to its purpose to glorify God. You'll get a little
southern gospel mixed with bluegrass gospel and light
contemporary, just a little of all so everyone can enjoy it. Michael
and Tommy Privette grew up playing bluegrass with their older
brother and Dad, while Gloria sang the old hymns and southern
gospel in church with her mother. Now they seek to honor God as
they travel and lift Him up in song, blending their heritage. Michael
is on guitar, Tommy on banjo.

We thank every person and church, who has supported us through
the years, booking us and buying our projects. May you know God's
special blessings for by helping in our work for the Lord, you are
also a Worker in the Harvest.

Michael Privette
Mike's Dad played anything you could pick up with strings. Mike watched him teaching the two oldest boys and wanted to learn also. After being told to sit down and watch, he did, and learned to play guitar at five years old.
Gloria Privette
Gloria grew up singing with her mom, and adds her love of southern gospel and praise to round out the group with a little of it all, to please everyone. To God be the Glory, great things He hath done!
Tommy Privette
He began in music at five, by dragging around a banjo. Playing it soon after and winning a fiddler's convention with his older brother Rickie at just ten years old.
