Matthew 9:13 b:"for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

Jesus had a heart for the common, the poor people, who were looked down upon and shuned by the upperclass and even the religious people. For the poor made no pretense, their hearts were not closed, and set against the savior.

It was the religious leaders, that shalt to entrap Him and always questioned His every deed. They who needed Him most closed their minds and hearts, less in hearing and seeing they might believe, but the Am Ha-aretz, the people of the land, the common, like lambs, shalt Him and were found of Him, of whom they searched. To them, the who-so-ever-will , He gave of the living water, eternal life.

A story is told of Dr. Albert Einstein, searching on all four, for a train ticket, for he had forgotten his destination, saying;"I don't know where I'm going." It was important for him to know where to get off the train, but more important today for each of us to know, where we are going when we leave this life. Sin has pleasure for a season, but it will take you further, and keep you longer than you want to stay. Alot of people have chosen tickets to a place, they really don't want to go. Only two choices, Heaven or Hell? Two masters, Christ or Satan? Jesus is, "the way, the truth and the life." Don't walk over the plan of salvation and the blood of Christ, he gave His life to redeem you to the Father. It's your choice !

The world is seeking for peace, they think they'll find it in the things of this world, pleasures, drugs, alcohol, even success, but when they lay down at night, that emptiness they feel, is the lack of the spirit of God within. When He's savior, Lord and Master, there's a peace beyond understanding. He created man to have this relationship, there's a place only His spirit fits and if you try to put ANYTHING else there, it won't fit.

He's only a prayer away. Just as the Jews needed the blood applied to the doorpost so the death angel would pass over, we need the blood Christ offered up, applied to the doorpost of our heart. If you have never let Him be Lord of your life, ask Him in today. Remember, if He's not Lord of ALL, He's not Lord at all!

With His spirit leading and dwelling within you, you will find, you're never alone. Call out to Him, He's waiting to hear your call, He's only a prayer away and NO one else loves you like He does. He can bring peace to your trouble soul and when you surrender habits to Him, He can and will break the chains that bind you. "Today is the day of salvation."

A true stroy is told of a evangelist, who while closing his sermon, felt as if the lord was leading him to three young men on the back row, Son are you ready to meet God? One of them mocked the preacher, and said,"How far is Hell." Then he got up with the other two following. A little later a Highway Patrolman, came to ask if any one knew them, that there had been a wreck, head on with a tree and all three died. you see Hell was only three miles up the road for them.

If you died today, do you know for sure, you're ready? You can ! "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe with thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9
